What an amazing place. We found some great books and a few gifts to take home, but my personal favorite part was the downstairs bar. We happened to be there the night there was an Italian blues band playing and they killed it. This is on my list for my next trip to Rome.
Altroquando Book Store has a large underground public house for drinks and entertainment.
The selection is often from independent authors and mostly Italian, some taschen et al mixed in for good measure makes thins fun place to hang out, read, drink, talk until late!!!

Amazing bookstore, with really unique selection of books (not just the best sellers). Has a large selection of very beautiful and interesting graphic novels as well, so great for non-Italian speakers.
Loved this bookstore bought a great poster by Nicolò Pellizzon and the woman who waited on me gave me a great recommendation for my last pasta lunch in Rome. Thank you La Fraschetta di Castel sant’ Angelo was excellent.
As a bookshop, it has a fairly good selection of books - however, once you discover the underground music bar, you find an hidden gem in Rome.
Good selection of drinks, fair price for the area, and if you are lucky enough, you'll manage to see a music show! Shout out to Stefano for his piano performance and to the barman (sorry I didn't catch your name!) for introducing me to mixed spritz! Alla prossima!
they have a bar downstairs. This is a very unique place. Sometimes they have music playing, poetry or movies. It is a good bookstore. It was a great experience finding this place. I would recommend more people to check it out, read and have a beer.
We went to the pub downstairs and watched and listened to one of the best pianists I've ever heard!
